Introduction to HTML By G Krishna Chauhan

This is a series of HTML Tutorials that will calmly introduce you to very basics of Hyper-Text Mark-up Language. I suggest you to work with this tutorial over seven days. By the end of the week, you'll easily know enough about the create your own HTML pages. No really. You will.

So lets Start ... .. .

What is HTML :

HTML stands for Hyper-Text Markup Language .

Hypertext refers to the way in which Web pages (HTML documents) are linked together. When you click a link in a Web page, you are using hypertext .

Markup Language describes how HTML works. With a markup language, you simply "mark up" a text document with tags that tell a Web browser how to structure it to display .

It is the main markup language for creating web pages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser .

Before your begin you should be familiar with :

  • Basic word processing using any text editor.
  • How to create directories and files.
  • How to navigate through different directories.
  • Basic understanding on internet browsing using a browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox etc.

Originally, HTML was developed with the intent of defining the structure of documents like headings, paragraphs, lists, and so forth to facilitate the sharing of scientific information between researchers.

All you need to do to use HTML is to learn what type of markup to use to get the results you want. HTML tags label pieces of content such as "heading", "paragraph", "table", and so on. Browsers do not display the HTML tags, but use them to render the content of the pageNow a days HTML 5  ARE IN USE .... :)

You can understand about these concepts and tags which i provides you in this tutorial. When you know about this then i provide you a tool which is based on G.U.I. and coding of that code automatically Generated.
